Vitamin D contained in Protego Vitamin D 4000 :

• Is needed for proper development and maintenance of healthy bones and helps maintain healthy teeth. 
• Promotes proper absorption of calcium and phosphorus, maintaining normal blood calcium levels.
• Supports the proper functioning of muscles and the immune system.
• Participates in the process of cell division.

Proper levels of Vitamin D in the body contribute to maintaining proper muscle function. Falls are risk factors for bone fractures in people of both sexes aged 60 and older*.

The *beneficial effect occurs with a daily intake of 20 µg of vitamin D from all sources.

There are many risk factors for bone fractures and changing one of these factors may or may not have a beneficial effect.

It is recommended to take 1 capsule of Protego Vitamin D 4000 daily after a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.
