Feminovit Folic Acid is a dietary supplement in tablet form, containing folic acid in a dosage corresponding to the recommendations of the Expert Panel of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare on the prevention of congenital neural tube defects in offspring.

Folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy, participates in the process of cell division, helps in the normal production of blood and the maintenance of normal homocysteine metabolism.

It is recommended to consume 1 tablet daily.

Ingredients: filling agents: cellulose, sorbitols; anti-caking agents: polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol; filling agent: talc; pteroylmonoglutamic acid. The product may contain lactose (from milk).

Purpose: as a dietary supplement of folic acid for women planning pregnancy, pregnant and breastfeeding, as well as those taking hormonal contraceptives, and for those concerned with the proper functioning of the hematopoietic system and supplementary in the anti-atherosclerotic diet.

Supplemental intake of folic acid increases maternal folate levels. Low maternal folate levels are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the developing fetus.

It is recommended to consume 1 tablet per day.

Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.

The dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

The expert panel recommends folic acid supplementation during pregnancy at a dose of 400µg per day. In women taking the recommended dose, the risk of open neural tube defects (in the fetus) is reduced by 72%.

IF FOLIC ACID IS NOT PRESENT IN THE DIET AFTER JUST FOUR MONTHS, DEPLETION OF ITS RESERVES IN THE BODY OCCURS.
